Ideal Norm

This webinar highlights the many ways in which students can present themselves to the larger mathematical community, including non-conference settings in which students can network with other mathematicians. We address how students find and build spaces to exist authentically and how to navigate participating fully in a community that promotes the concept of a stereotypically “ideal” (i.e. model minority) mathematician.
